• SMS/MMS

The app provides complete multimedia support, allowing you to send and receive pictures, videos, audio files, VCards, and GIFs. Additionally, it offers delivery reports for both SMS and MMS messages, with the option to save delivery times. Group chats, send delay, SMS-to-MMS conversion, archiving, and scheduled message sending are just a few of the exciting features included in YAATA. The premium version also provides speakerphone mode, night mode, blacklisting functionality, auto forward and auto responder capabilities. The app allows you to copy and paste selected text and offers a multitude of options when tapping on a message bubble. Furthermore, you can backup and restore your settings and look forward to ongoing updates that will introduce even more exciting features.

• Quick Options

YAATA offers three different desktop widget styles and the ability to pin contacts to the FAB tab for easy access. You can also quickly compose messages from the notification shade using your three favorite contacts. When composing a new message, your favorite contacts will conveniently appear. Additionally, you can insert pictures quickly by long-pressing the attachment icon. If you come up with faster ways to use the app, don't hesitate to share them!

• Notifications

YAATA provides three different quick reply styles and allows you to view messages over the lock screen using chat heads. These chat heads offer various customizable options (some of which are available in the premium version). The app also offers a pop-up window option for viewing messages over the lock screen, with configurable settings such as message limit, pop-up size, and automatic closing after sending. For a simpler notification experience, a dialog window is also available. Custom vibrations, LED colors, and blink rate can be personalized, and repeat reminders for missed messages are possible. You can customize swipe actions in the notification shade and even set notifications for non-numeric addresses or unknown senders. Furthermore, you have the flexibility to choose how you want to be notified when listening to music, during calls, when the screen is on, and more.

• Customization for Individual Contacts

YAATA allows you to personalize notifications for each contact, including ringtones, custom vibrations, quick reply styles, LED color and blink rate, status bar icon, and more. You can also adjust the look and feel of conversations with specific contacts by changing bubble colors for sent and received messages, contact avatars, action bar colors, and text colors and sizes. The app provides a wealth of additional customization options that you can explore at your own pace.

• Look & Feel

YAATA offers various themes including light, dark, black, card-based, and random palette. Additionally, you can create your own color palette in advanced settings or reset colors to default. The app allows you to customize contact pictures (size, shape, color), fonts (size, color, bold options), message bubbles (colors, styles, animation), action bar color, and background colors. The conversation list can be grouped by dates such as today, yesterday, and two days ago. Timestamp options, filter options (search by MMS, send, received, dates, text, and more), alternating backgrounds to differentiate different days, and the ability to enable or disable swipe actions in the conversation list (e.g., swipe to call, mute, archive, delete, reply, create chat head) are also available. Additional options to hide the keyboard when scrolling, hide the editor when scrolling, and close the keyboard after sending messages are provided as well.
